Two years ago, I published a book titled, Strategic Parenting, and we have had a lot of positive response. My wife, Tammy, and I have strategically thought about parenting and grandparenting for decades now. And this has proven to be very helpful for our network of friends and clients. Heck, we all want the best for our kids, right? So reading about proven best practices is a pretty darn good idea and a smart investment of time.
Strategically Build Your Family Legacy
Applying the concept of being “strategic” to all aspects of my life both personally and professionally has become an extension of my mantra, and I want to push you to do the same.
My dad encouraged me to create my own business mantra when I started my firm, and my whole team lives by it every day.
My mantra is:
Give Value. Do More Than Is Expected.
Both my mom and dad taught me this and modeled for me that if you live out this mantra your whole life, you will always have a growing number of positive relationships. And you know how much I value positive relationships!
New Book – Family Wealth
I also applied the concept of being “strategic” to building one’s family legacy. This has led me to publish my 49th book called, Family Wealth.
Now, in this book, we do not focus on how to build a successful family business, although, that is certainly a by-product of applying the lessons in the book. Our main goal in publishing this book is to help our clients get the Right RESULTS Faster, both personally and professionally, especially concerning their family.
Family Wealth is dedicated to the hundreds of family patriarchs and matriarchs, and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who profoundly touched my life and my co-author’s life as the content was developed and refined. Our hope is for their legacies to flourish for generations as well as for yours.
